Another electrifying demonstration of jazz and ubi-jubi. “these guys really know what they are doing!” The vocalist is known to be one of the finest Soul and R&B singers anywhere around and the guitarist is described as absolutely ‘brilliant’.
…as the band, obviously stoked for the show, ripped through the first four numbers straight away. People packed the joint and were very enthusiastic about the show. “Wow” and “these guys really know what they are doing!” were comments overheard from nearby attendees.
…During the drum solo, the drummer got up and ran around inside the building keeping the drum solo going on random artifacts that he found on his way back to the stage. Everyone enjoyed that stunt.
…The Bass was nice and deep and strong, helping to carry the weight of the songs very well.

Our Original Style
The Original Musicosophy Band plays Original Music; flavored by Soul, Smooth Jazz, Funk-lite and R&B, and Authentic Native Tarheel Ubi-Jubi sounds that are alive with spontaneity and joy. Other times the sounds are rich and mysterious. Underneath everything we do is that hip organic rhythm.
“Musicosophy is a Musical Philosophy more than anything. It is deeply interconnected with the heartbeat of the Living Environment, emerging gregariously from the creative harmony of nature’s sonic tapestry”.
Though we play our own compositions we also play the occasional cover tune; but not in any standard way, preferring to accompany the music on its own Journey while we give it ‘the treatment’ and make it our own. In fact, that’s the way we play our own numbers, too. Our sound could be described this way:
“Melodious Sonority that is Positive and Uplifting. Happy notes played in hopping, syncopated rhythm chuckles. The sheer Joy of channeling the Muses”.
